I'm Dutch and have been living in Valencia since 2008. As a freelance cameraman, I came here to shoot a video and improve my Spanish, but I fell in love with... this beautiful city, it’s culture and colourful traditions, the language, the nearby and spectacular mountains and... of course my wife:)
During my work as a cameraman I discovered amazing scenery, hidden places in the Region of Valencia and met inspiring people and many new Spanish friends and colleagues in tourism; People who are proud of their culture and nature, willing to share it with you.
SPAINISH is your entrance to learn and enjoy Spanish and Valencian culture, language and nature... Enjoy your holidays in a completely different way!
Explore and feel the land of Begoña, Jesús, Belén, Xavi, Chema and Jorge. They've been organising cycling, hiking and culture tours or teaching Spanish for people from all over the world, for many years now. They are the Spanish professionals who take you to places that have seen few foreign visitors and organise the perfect Spanish (language) immersion.
For various travel agencies in the Netherlands and Belgium we are the preferred supplier (and operator) for the Region of Valencia and Teruel.
And I'm still discovering new places and possible activities for future trips, working as a freelance cameraman for ´Terra Viva´. This is a daily program about agriculture and nature on the public tv channel of the Region of Valencia.
The brand name SPAINISH is a combination of SPAIN, SPANISH and AÍN (our favorite village in Parque Natural Sierra de Espadán, where we organize our language courses).
Besides Aín and the Sierra de Espadán, we are also active in the valley of the Mijares river. Perfect for cycling and walking tours in fabulously beautiful countryside.
And don't forget Valencia itself! The city really has everything for the perfect holiday. 300 days of sunshine a year, a huge beach, fine gastronomy, an atmospheric historic centre and the futuristic 'city of arts and science' in the Turia Park.
SPAINISH is registered as a travel agency with the Conselleria de Turismo in Valencia under number CV-Mm1871-V. Part of this registration is a compulsory third-party business insurance and guarantee scheme for consumers in the event of bankruptcy.
