The tour is possible almost every day of the year . Special cycling clothing is not necessary.
If bad weather is forecast, we will move the tour to another day in consultation.
After completing the booking form, we will check the availability of our boat and bicycles and confirm the booking asap. Also fill in an alternative date in case we have to move to another date due to the weather.
Please also state your height, so that we can prepare the correct size bicycle. And if there are children, please state how many and how old they are so that we can provide child seats for both the car and the bicycle.

Description
Cycle around Lake Albufera and cross the water by bike... This is the only way to discover all the unique places around the lake in 1 day; a varied tour through the labyrinth of ditches and canals, along picturesque harbors, over dikes and quiet roads. The Albufera is a unique ecosystem , with dunes, beach, rice fields and an enormous lake that offers many special attracts birds such as flamingos and all kinds of herons and ibises .
And you can eat delicious paella !
On our tour you will be provided with binoculars and a map of the most common birds in the area, so that you can fully enjoy everything you see. You will cycle along a number of picturesque harbors and on your way you will find many restaurants to taste an authentic paella or 'all i pebre '!

Route
The distance of the cycle route is 51 or 67 km . If you cycle with children, you can shorten the tour.
In that case, we will pick you up and bring you back to Valencia (at an additional cost).
Starting point is Avenida del Puerto in Valencia.
From there you cycle through the City of Arts and Sciences and the harbor towards Pinedo. There you follow the beach and cycle through the dunes . You will find the first restaurants there. Then you come to a beautiful lagoon and the large Albufera lake.
In the village of El Palmar you will find dozens of restaurants to grab a terrace or try one of the regional dishes .
Then you continue cycling around the lake, through the rice fields. On your way you will find a number of harbors with small fishing boats . At el Tancat de la Pipa you can visit the observation hut to spot special birds . Then you get on a boat with your bike and all and you are dropped off on the other side of the lake.
There you will be picked up and brought back to Valencia (for the 51 km tour). Or you can cycle back to the city yourself (+16 km).
You cycle at your own pace . Only the time for the visit to the observation hut and the crossing in the boat is determined in advance.
You will receive GPS from us, so that you can find your way carefree in the labyrinth of ditches, canals and roads.
